Noah's Ark

How little-known is the fact that the real Noah's Ark has been discovered and that the Turkish government commissioned a special visitors center for it in 1987? American scientists dismissed the site as a "natural formation," but Ron Wyatt wanted to see it for himself.

During his first visit to Turkey, Ron and his sons had only three days to search for the then-unknown location of the ark. Miraculously, God caused their taxi to break down three times on the way to the hotel, and they spent the next three days searching for clues at those exact locations. During that first trip, they found a building, gravestones, anchors, and the ark itself. Ron subsequently conducted numerous investigations and excavations in the area during dozens of subsequent visits. The visitor center displays some of these activities.

Sodom and Gomorrah

"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." (Jude 1:7)

In the letter of the apostle Jude, we find this remarkable verse, in which he indicates that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah serve as a warning example of God's punishment. Other scholars from the first centuries indicate that the destroyed cities could still be visited.

In this chapter of the book, the reader can examine the remains of these plain cities for themselves and conclude that God truly intervenes when people give themselves over to complete debauchery and cause nothing but harm and destruction to others and to themselves.

De Geslagen Rotssteen

Hoewel bijgevoegde pagina met de geslagen rotssteen slechts een onderdeel van een hoofdstuk uit dit boek betreft, staat hij hier vermeld omdat deze steen tot de verbeelding spreekt.

Midden in de woestijn, vlak bij de ware berg Sinaï, is deze gespleten rots te vinden. Op de foto linksonder kunnen grote sporen van erosie gezien worden, in een gebied waar nauwelijks regen valt. Ook is er een stenen altaar van onbewerkte stenen te vinden, wat een kenmerk is van het volk van Israël.

Zie en besef dat God Zijn dorstig volk midden in de woestijn water heeft gegeven, en raak bemoedigd dat God ook vandaag de dag Zijn volk kan geven wat zij nodig hebben.
